Since 1983 BBM Youth Support has made a significant impact in the lives of countless young Australians through two activities targeting youth education.
Firstly and foremost we provide international travel scholarships through the unique BBM Youth Support Awards program to enable talented, passionate and focussed young people under the age of 24 further their studies and experience in the UK. Secondly we provide financial support to specialist organisations who educate children from disadvantaged backgrounds or who are living with a disability. By enhancing individual lives through education we are assisting break generational cycles of disadvantage.

BBM Youth Support Awards provide $8,000 travel scholarships to the UK for them to realise a personalised development plan. This educational gift offers life changing outcomes.
Awardees develop specialist skills that they may not be exposed to in Australia, they meet international experts in their field and form extensive networks and relationships. What’s more, this opportunity allows talented youngsters to compete or train on a world class stage.
The skills, knowledge, networks and experiences are brought back to Australia and shared throughout the community.
Since 1983 the unique BBM Youth Support Awards model has provided over 960 potentially life changing opportunities. Our extensive alumni, which reaches across the arts, sports and trades, inspires and mentors young people from all walks of life every day.
In addition to the unique BBM Youth Support Awards, we provide scholarships to disadvantaged youth through established education providers.
More than one thousand young students from disadvantaged and indigenous backgrounds have benefitted from the financial scholarships and funding BBM Youth Support has made through the TAFE system, TOCAL Agricultural College and the IPROWD indigenous policing initiative.
BBM Youth Support also has a three decade long history of supporting education providers who teach children from disadvantaged backgrounds or who have a disability. We partner with organisations such as The Girls & Boys Brigade and Stepping Stone House which are helping break generational cycles of illiteracy and unemployment through education.
We also partner with organisations such as Giant Steps and The Shepherd Centre which provide life skills to young people with disabilities through education. Read more.
