YWCA's Big Sister Big Brother is a unique mentoring program that provides one to one friendship and support to children who are having a tough time. These are children that lack positive adult role models and have needs that cannot be met by their current support system.

It is such a simple gift to give these children their own Big Sister or Brother to be their special friend and mentor. Someone who cares, listen and displays by their own behaviour how to fit into society and recognise the common good. YWCA's Big Sister Big Brother Program brings about profound positive change in the way these young people feel about themselves and how they view their world.
