Last year’s BBMYS Football Awardee George Blackwood has been selected to go over to Vietnam with the young Socceroos on Monday 1st September.
Since returning from playing with Colchester in the UK George has played Premier League for Apia’s under 18’s and 20’s and at the moment he is playing for NSW in the National School Championships at Blacktown. At the beginning of the year George trained with Sydney Fc and since then has been offered a Youth Team contract for the coming season.

George is only 17 and has already achieved so much and BBM would like to wish him all the best with his upcoming challenges as he continues to achieve.
