Classical music has been a part of Rosie’s life since she first picked up a flute when she was seven years old.
After completing high school at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, her teacher encouraged her to look for opportunities overseas.
Her BBM Youth Support Award allowed Rosie to travel to the UK in December 2009 and audition for music conservatories throughout Europe, experiencing the joys and challenges of competing with other musicians at a world class level.
As a result of her European experience, Rosie was accepted into a number of schools and chose undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School in New York. This gave her many opportunities of which she could have only dreamed. She has studied with the principal flutist of the New York Philharmonic, worked with famous conductors and played in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall.
Rosie is currently in London studying for her Master of Music degree at The Royal Academy of Music.Update Your Details
