Melanie Stray

CEO

Melanie brings experience in social change and strategic development from the community and commercial sectors. She worked previously for United Way Australia on employment and literacy initiatives for disadvantaged young people. Prior to that she spent 15 years in global telecommunications for British Telecom (BT) with experience across sales, marketing and product development.

Libby Daniels

Communication & Projects Manager

Libby has five years’ experience in communications strategy, and has worked across large scale digital, stakeholder and media campaigns in both London and Sydney. She has worked with organisations including federal government, Yahoo and American Express.

Rita Huynh

Admin & Finance Support

Rita joined BBM Youth Support June 2016 and is currently studying a Bachelor in Business & Accounting.

Eric migrated to Australia under the BBM migration assistance scheme in 1974. He studied at UNSW to earn a Commerce Degree and progress to becoming a Fellow of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He has been working throughout in assisting small business and individuals with tax, superannuation and financial planning for over 30 years. Eric is a Registered Tax Agent, Registered Company Auditor, Registered SMSF Auditor, Authorised Representative of Count Financial Ltd & a Justice of the Peace.
Eric was appointed to the Board of BBM in 2012 and subsequently became Treasurer of BBM.

Wallace Long

Director

Wallace has lead health marketing, advertising and communication organisations over the past 30 years. A marketer by training, he applies his strategic marketing, branding and communication skills across all facets of the health sector.

He has experience in Public Health Campaigns, Continuing Professional Development Programs for Health Care Professionals and, Support Programs for Consumers and their Families. He has worked closely with universities and other key stakeholders to assist in the delivery of their programs.

Wallace founded C2M Health Communications in 2010 with the aim of providing the health sector with sound strategic advice on the integration of new technologies into their marketing activities.

His previous roles include; founding partner of CWFS Advertising, a leading health advertising agency with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore. After ten years the agency was acquired by McCann-Erickson; founder of Think Health, a specialist Sydney based medical education agency, which he managed for ten years.

Wallace is a Certified Practicing Marketer and sits on the Australian Marketing Institute - South Australian Committee.

Bryan Jones OAM

Director

Bryan has been a member of the BBM board for 25 years and served as Chairman from 2013 to 2016.
His working life has been involved with the training of young people, commencing in 1964 with British Steel and then the Engineering Industry Training Board (EITB).
Moving to Australia in 1971 he became the Corporate Training and Development Manager at EMAIL LTD for 30 years, whilst serving on a number of Government Training boards, including the NSW Vocational Accreditation Board,(VETAB), NSW Board of Vocational Education and Training Training (BVET) and the Australian Student Training Foundation (ASTF).
Co - Founder of WorkSkill Australia (now WorldSkills Australia), he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 1996 for service to Education and Training.
