Congratulations to the 2016/17 Skilled Futures Awardees who have been selected following their success at the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Competition in Melbourne, the recipients of the BBM Youth Support Award are:-

  • Jordan Cahill – Landscape Construction
  • Joshua Cunico – Retail Butchery
  • Matthew Hurley – Carpentry
  • Matthew Wills – Cookery
  • Michele Leuci – Electrical Control
  • Nicholas Lennox – Electrical Installation
  • Scott Shearan – Auto Electrical

We received a high volume of quality applications, these 16 applicants have been successful and will be using their Skilled Futures Award to travel to the UK and undertake a minimum of 4 weeks work experience in their field of work. This amazing experience is designed to help enhance the participants’ career prospects and provide them with invaluable international experience in their respective trades and skills.
