Farewell Eddy Steele

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Eddy Steele, ex Little Brother and past Director of the Board.
Eddy arrived in Australia in 1957 when he was just 17 years old. When he passed away in June 2021, he had dedicated decades of his life to the organisation that brought him here.
Eddy was a Director of Big Brother Movement Limited (now BBM Youth Support) for 35 years. His wife Pat worked closely with him, managing the BBM office for many years.
Eddy Steele spent his retirement with his wife at Tweed Heads in NSW, volunteering his time to organise reunions, maintaining his connections with many Little Brothers and keeping in close contact with BBM.
The BBM community is indebted to Eddy and Pat for their contribution to the organisation.
