Hello All,

Finally we have a confirmed date for our Reunion, as below. I would like to thank those of you who contacted me with mostly enthusiastic feedback and suggestions, even some queries which I have received since starting this quest to catch up with our various pasts, and make new friends from a bunch of disparate individuals!

Date:                     Sunday 2^nd October 2016

Time:                     1pm to 4 pm

Venue:                 Victoria Park RSL

                              1, Fred Bell Parade

                         East Victoria Park, WA, 6101

Refreshments:  Finger food (pies, sausage rolls & maybe some sandwiches) Tea and Coffee

Alcohol: Attended bar with bottled beer including low alcohol, wines and mixers etc. Low prices eg Beer $5 each.

Door charge: TBA when numbers are firm, but expected range $16.50 per head if 20 attend to $11 if 30 attend, so please make up the numbers….The door charge covers the cost of venue hire including room, kitchen, crockery etc and licenced persons to attend at the bar, plus an allowance of $100 towards the  refreshments.  If anything is left over from the $100 returnable deposit (which sum I have allocated to refreshments), it will go on the bar.

*UPDATE* BBM have contributed $100 to room hire which will make the door charge considerably cheaper.

 

Activities: Short introduction to the event

Safety and facilities talk by RSL President (legal requirement for 2-3 minutes approx.)

Then basically a get together to meet new people, chat, exchange information and contact details if desired.

Perhaps one or two volunteers might like to brief us with a quick rundown on their experience(s) – anyone interested please let me know

Should anyone be able to bring along any memento’s, photos, or other items of interest, that would be great.

BBM Sydney: Will be with us in spirit only unfortunately as no one can come to join us. Despite that they will be sending me any interesting documentation, photo’s, possibly other things, and certainly different something for all Little Brothers to take home with them, which is nice of them.

Attendance: To ensure no one misses out on the BBM gift, I really need to firm up on numbers, so below are listed those who have indicated they will be coming. Number-wise I have assumed all will come with a wife, partner, or companion for company.
