George Blackwood (2013/14 Football Awardee) captained the Young Socceroos to victory, claiming the AFF U19 Championship in Vietnam with a stunning 5-1 victory over Thailand in the final.

George was able to net himself an impressive 7 goals over the competition making him the lead goalscorer. Congratulations to George and the rest of the team on their tremendous effort, the team will now be heading to Bahrain to try and qualify for the U20 World Cup, and we want to wish them the best of luck!
