SOS – Safeguarding Our Scholars 

BBM is committed to providing a scholarship program which supports our scholars to become practical and holistic leaders of the future.

At all times, the ongoing safety and wellbeing of our scholars remains the primary focus of decision-making. Whilst on your BBM Scholarship we want to ensure you feel safe, and if you have any concerns you are able to raise these in an environment where you feel heard and respected.

In 2021, BBM Youth Support launched the Safeguarding our Scholars Framework (SOS), providing scholars with easy access to a confidential, online reporting system managed by EAP Assist, an independent third party.

Scholars who may not wish to engage directly with BBM for support or advice, are encouraged to lodge a report communicating their concerns about their own issues, or those of a fellow scholar here: https://eapassist.com.au/whistleblower-program/ . EAP Assist receive and assess the scholars report, then take the necessary steps to work with the BBM SOS team.
