My name William Boyd. I arrived in Australia in January 1962 on board the SS Orion. I was sent to Tocumwal in the Riverina to a mixed farm. The Johnstons’, who owned the place, were great and treated me as family. I still visit them when I get the chance. I spent seven (7) years on that property and then moved to Newcastle where I still live. I have been home for a visit about four times and in August my partner and I are going again. I have enjoyed every minute of my time in Australia and thank the BBM for my opportunity to live here.
