Steven Heathcote AM received his BBM award in 1984/85 and has since gone on to become one of the world’s most renowned Ballet dancers. In this Q&A with Marika Aubrey (Drama 2002/03) Steven highlights how receiving his award allowed him to aim higher and benchmark his work against the very best in the world. Steven also gives some insight into what this year’s awardees can expect to gain and also talks about his potential life as a pastry chef had he not pursued his dream of ballet.
