Worldskills Australia national medallists receive 2015 BBM Youth Support Skilled Futures Award
BBM Youth Support and WorldSkills Australia first partnered in 2000 to select and grant young and talented competitors with this award. The participants will travel to the UK on 16th July to participate in a two week leadership development course followed by four weeks of UK work experience. This leadership course is designed to help enhance the participants’ career prospects and provide them with invaluable international experience in their respective trades and skills.
Many of the past BBM Skilled Futures participants, including people like Ben Madden, have gone on to be leaders in their fields and become mentors and employers to subsequent generations of tradespeople.
